Yardnique’s story began in 1997 with a pickup truck, a passion for horticulture, and a college student determined to build something meaningful. While pursuing his horticulture science degree at North Carolina State University, founder and CEO Brian DuMont started providing landscape services to residential customers throughout the Raleigh area. What began as a way to help pay for school quickly grew into something much bigger.
Nearly three decades later, that same spirit still drives everything we do. Today, Yardnique has grown into one of the nation’s leading landscape companies, ranked among the fastest growing in the industry, while remaining grounded in the values that shaped us from the very beginning. Through our flagship Yardnique brand and our family of companies, we provide commercial landscape maintenance, design, and installation services to communities across the Southeast.
With more than 2,500 dedicated grounds care, design, and horticulture professionals, our bright orange trucks have become a familiar sight in the communities we serve. But it’s about more than properties. It’s about people, pride, and leaving every place better than we found it. Every blade of grass we touch, every hedge we trim, and every landscape we enhance reflects the care, craftsmanship, and heart behind the name Yardnique.
