Fall is a beautiful time of year for your landscape, but it can also bring one of the most frustrating turf pests: fall armyworms.

These small caterpillars can seemingly appear overnight and cause significant damage to lawns, athletic fields, and other turf areas. In fact, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension notes that fall armyworms can consume large areas of turf in just a few days when populations are high.
